On Octorber 17, 2020, after a day of working with a democratic spirit, in ernest and responsibility, the Provincial People’s Council Class of IX (term 2016-2021) has successfully gone through the agenda of the Committee’s 13th (occasional) meeting.

As such, the Council has passed 13 resolutions with a high rate of agreement. This is the legal basis reported back to the Government in time to put into action the policy of arranging administrative units at village level according to Resolution 18-NQ/TW of the Central Committe Class of XII, provincial resolution of establishing 4 wards in Ving Long city, other resolutions of basic contructive investment policy allowing for convenience in order for the Province People’s Committee to organize action upon the Council’s resolutions for remaining months of 2019, serving the purpose of solving problems arising in daily life, contributing to further development of social-economy, as well as elevating the citizen’s quality of life.

For his closing speech, Provincial Vice Standing Secretary and President of Provincial People’s Council – Nghiem Van Bui made a request that the People’s Committee  directed specialized organisations to go through the procedure of submitting to the Government the project of establishing Truong An ward, Tan Ngai ward, Tan Hoa ward, Tan Hoi ward of Vinh Long city; The project of organizing administrative units at village level of Vinh Long city phase 2019-2021; Adjusting border line and arranging administrative units at village level in order to establish the township of Tan Quoi of Binh Tan district according to law. Simultaneously, to urgently prepare for the content of 2019’s year-end meeting to ensure expected procedure and progress.
